"I was able to step over some unconscious hurdles blocking me from stepping up to speak in front of a group. Thank you for taking me through the steps needed to overcome the fear aspects of speaking and allowing me to see how easy it really is with the correct tools to integrate."

"When I started I was nervous at the thought of having to get up in front of other peole and have them look at me while I spoke. I see myself as a shy, quiet sort of person with not much of interest to say.

Day one, Jodie had us in awe about her life and travels which was incredibly inspiring and had much reference to what we were going to achieve. And I thought 'yer right, I can't do that!!' But she did it in such a was that it was so easy, just step by step, breath by breath and we could do it. While it was daunting, it was also exhilarating knowing that I was learning a new skill that can take me places.

Day two, I was really nervous as we had to give an enthusastic talk for two minutes. But getting up and breathing, taking things slow, the words just came out, amazing. The most amazing part was that even though I was incredibly nervous I knew I could do it. Even more amazing was the fact that while I do not in any way see myself as a great public speaker (yet) I really enjoyed it!

Now it's up to me, the skills that I have now learned will empower me to advance my career.
